It's hard to deny that Apple's MacBook Air advertisement is pretty catchy, and while the DS Lite doesn't exactly pull off the whole envelope exit quite as elegantly as Cupertino's latest lappie, it doesn't do a half bad job representin'. In the spoof waiting for you after the jump, you'll see a black DS Lite retrofitted into the MBA spot, and while the text, lighting and overall smoothness isn't on par with the original, at least the music is spot-on. Click on though to see for yourself.

You can't even read half the "Nintendo DS" logo with the damn envelope. While it's a decent video, why the hell couldn't they make the text readable?
Drew @ Feb 18th 2008 6:26PM
I LOL'd.
Haven't been able to use that literally in a while. Good job.

Very dirty indeed. I had to manually close my Firefox window.

Hmm 'sadly' it's all script, and I don't feel like giving your site temporary permission.

I can't believe this many people actually followed that link.
It's a tech blog; you'd think there'd be more common sense about safe surfing!
rule 1: use protection (antivirus & firewall)
rule 2: don't download or open executables from strangers
rule 3: no matter how tempting, don't click on solicitations for penis pills, money-for-nothing schemes, or offtopicblogurlsthatlooklikethis.com! Sheesh!
Good_Bytes @ Feb 18th 2008 10:06PM
I reported the post in the hope to get it removed.
In my point of view, this just stupidity is not required in this place, and should not be encouraged.
Dominic @ Feb 18th 2008 10:22PM
haha..I've used that link to prank my friends in the past..so I know it by heart now. I always open Opera to view it to give myself an own chuckle..and it doesn't effect Opera in anyway so I can close it anytime I want :D
CUBSWILLWIN @ Feb 18th 2008 10:59PM

Truly preferred that version.
Music isn't quite as loud but it's a bit better.
CUBSWILLWIN @ Feb 18th 2008 8:13PM
not a trick is it. I've been rick rolled twice, second time my browser woudn't shut up and shut off!
White_Pheonix @ Feb 18th 2008 8:25PM
Nope, it's real. Flashblock is very useful, I find, as I can click on youtube links, and then not see the video until I decide to let it run.
