Thehundreds.com had a good one, saying they sold the company to LVXHM?
Also, youtube got us all real good.
Les @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:18AM

Kyle Simmons @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:32AM
I was just about to post that.
vdogg89 @ Apr 2nd 2008 1:30AM
same here. When i first saw it, I was all excited thinking they gave us the ability to send email in the future at a specific time
athousandleaves @ Apr 2nd 2008 2:07AM

Grey Acumen @ Apr 2nd 2008 11:06AM
I would have liked to see a reversed version of this, so that it would let you create an email, and then pick a date and time in the future when it would get automatically sent without you having to be there.
Spinstorm @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:11AM
The iPhone/iPod firmware you have DIRECTLY linked to is REAL!
It installs using iTunes but wont activate unless your a developer. It will make the screen go purple and iTunes will say it is unable to activate the device!
You just LINKED THE REAL BETA FIRMWARE on your main news page Lol
Seth @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:01PM
Seriously? Ha, that was my joke for the evening.
I won't even download it. But still, I wish someone would leak it...
Spinstorm @ Apr 2nd 2008 8:52AM
I'm totally serious.
Have a look at any of the iphone forums such as hackint0sh or macrumors and you'll see it confirmed!
hiren @ Apr 2nd 2008 9:51AM
That firmware is real.
Andrew @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:12AM
iLounge had a good one as well, http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/a1/index.
Read some of those Apple ads at the top, quite funny.
Andrew @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:13AM
PS - The magenta is a great touch!
Cheers
happy_penguin @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:21AM
HA!! *reading down the page*
"MacBook Air "not just a computer, it's God""
:D :D TOO funny!
Daniel @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:12AM
the HD DVD+ site had some typos and poor grammar at times. Then I realized the site is normally in French.
mac @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:28AM
I still laughed hardest at ThinkGeek's Betamax to HD-DVD converter. Oh so useful.
Matt @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:13AM
Oh and my personal favorite...
Sprint Switches to Verizon Wireless
In a significant enterprise win, Sprint Nextel has switched wireless carriers from themselves to Verizon Wireless. Sprint President and CEO Daniel R. Hesse said, "Look, I know this looks bad, but our employees must be able to communicate on a reliable network to dig us out of this hole we're in."
Tjken33 @ Apr 2nd 2008 11:11AM
LMAO nice one!
Brent @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:14AM
Where's Engadget's? Come on, you guys must have something up your sleeve?
albtms @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:34AM
did you really miss it?
http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/01/painting-the-town-magenta/
It's more of a one-two kind of deal, but works for me :)
Kyle Simmons @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:34AM
Well... There is a pink background...
Brent @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:38AM
Ryan swears thats all for reals though.
Wolfticket @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:54AM
The funny thing is, if the whole magenta thing is an April fools then T-Mobile probably will have a pretty decent reason to sue engadget.
Brent @ Apr 2nd 2008 1:01AM
My first thought was that tmobile was in on the gag. Ryan said that wasn't the case, so now I'm thinking maybe tmobile was the one pulling the gag. Perhaps having read the article here about them suing people over the use of magenta they decided to have a little fun. Wonder if they saw it going where it did.
imacmatt09 @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:17AM
Damn I got Rick Roll'd by ThinkGeek!
cityoftroy @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:19AM

albtms @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:38AM
Go to YouTube and click any featured video, quick!
It's kind of old but still amusing. And damnit, I actually find myself ENJOYING THE SONG now.
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around
and desert you!
I can't believe I added it to my favorites. Oh lord.
Brent @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:53AM
HA! That is pretty good actually. Everything else has been more parody than prank.
(I'm still hoping to learn that some part, if not all, of this T-Mo biz going on here was prank. If it was there's 300+ commenters here and 4000 digg users with egg on their face)
retro77 @ Apr 2nd 2008 12:20AM
