Wouldn't Jesus prefer to be nailed to this tiny, shiny and smooth crucifix instead of the huge wooden cross, including splinters, he ended up with?
This thing is a lot Jesus-friendlier to carry up a mountain, to say the least.

it was normal in the times of crucifixion to be tethered, but in Jesus' case, he was nailed.

The poor man may have been nailed to a stake or post (stauros), not a cross, depending on how you translate the Greek texts. So, many makes of MP3 player could symbolise Christ's execution.

I agree with you totally brother. One time I got tipped a piece of chocolate that had Jesus crucified on a cross. One of my co-workers asked me "why aren't you eating it, is because you don't believe he was crucified?"
I replied "No, I just don't feel right biting my prophets head off."
Christians do make dumb things. For example, Diamond studded cross jewelry... Jesus lived his life giving to others, living poorly and humble. I'm very sure that if he was alive today, he would be very disappointed with such things.
