Darren, for your information sir, I own one of these and I have plenty of friends. I have so many friends that I am forced to host parties every night just to entertain them all. In fact, only a portion of them can fit inside my massive house at any one time and thus we are forced to have a rotating guest list so everyone can get in at some point. That's right.
What? I swear!
FINE! I'm so alone... I thought the fan would bring me happiness but instead I'm more miserable than ever. The thing only works outside too so it's of no use during my long WoW sessions.

If it's ever over 104 Fahrenheit (assuming my math is correct) outside I will need more than this funny looking hat. You'r correct, living in Florida I can say on the right day you can make a lot of friends. I've seen a number of times that the people with those spray bottle fans are all of sudden the people to be around and I can't imagine what this hat-fan will do for your social status!

Frankly, this is a way cool idea. While traipsing around some gargantuan amusement park in Florida my daughter used something like this:

to keep herself cool - worked great but weighed a ton AND ate batteries.

Stuff like this has been around for at least 20 years or so. I saw other kids wearing this kind of stuff while in primary school!
