They should have called it Amino instead of Amilo. Then everyone would associate it with the components that make up proteins, and think it's strong and even moar better than the competition.

it saves space. the acer aspire one does the same. you get used to it. if you cant handle one small change, you probably shouldnt be looking into something this small anyway.

Well the acer one supposedly has extra sensors in the corners of the touchpad and users say that with them they don't even use the side buttons that often, I wonder if this one has similar as well.

If you want to save space, put both buttons on the lefthand side of the pad (L button above R). That layout would actually be more ergonomic than the bottom layout, as most use the thumb to press the buttons.
To make it fair for righties & lefties, replicate the buttons on both sides of the pad.

The main difference between Home and Pro are very little. Some underlying networking changes, the addition of IIS services, etc. If it can run Home it should run Pro easily, just take up a little more memory for those new services.

Ugh. Everybody should stop making netbooks now that hasn't already made one. The only people who should sell netbooks are ASUS and MSI. This is so annoying at this point. They get to expensive to be secondary and too small and weak to be a main computer. Lame.

I'm incredibly happy about this release. I've wanted a diminutive F-S ever since the Lifebook P1000 series. Granted this is no P1620; but it is already far more powerful than their old P1000s. My favorite thing about the entire Netbook craze is that it put FS-sized laptops within my purchasing power. To see FS release one now makes me think this saga has come full-circle.
Also, ExpressCard slot. Weeeee.

What an nice looking Laptop, with respect, I hope that Siemens have sorted out the Over heating Battery issue, which seems to ´´Haunt´´ may of their Laptops I have purchased in the past.

It's missing a few standard features;
# I want one in 10 inch
# when it has at least a 6cell battery
# minimal of 3 usb ports
The Asus has all this but doesn't have the looks and shows some problems with the keyboard so I'm waiting for another good Netbook.
