LOL... my PSP just died this past weekend... it wouldn't read the UMD... now that's a good excuse to buy the PSP-3000... but I couldn't trade it in to EB Games for discount though...

It has been confirmed to not work with pandora battery trick. PSP emu runners need to hold off until a hack comes out.

It's the box. It makes you wonder if you are buying a portable console, or Microsoft Street and Trips 2008 with free Ratchet and Clank. It may be busier than New York rush hour, but it will easily catch the eyes of children begging their parents for a holiday gift.

I already have 2 PSPs (1000 & 2000), now I just can't resist the new screen, I must buy the 3000, but since I already have two, I'm looking for value and the Ratchet size matters seen like a great deal so I'll go for it, my only complain is the color as well, I like the black one but I don't want to pay $170 for just the system or $200 for a system and 4gb memory(I don't need more memory), but unfortunate the ratchet pack comes with silver PSP :(

Well, the black looks great, but I think they were more concerned about the fingerprints. I currently spend about $10 a month just to keep the fingerprints off of my shiny, glossy, black PSP.....and that is just crazy to have to do.

I think the guys working at my gamestop are complete idiots. I asked them if they had the new psp 3000 and the guy is like "it comes out in November 12". and im like, maybe the black one but not the ratchet and clank one. he continues to say no, both of them come out on the 12th of nov. im just like wtf? the next gamestop about 45 minutes from my house has them why not this one? anywho i didn't want to argue with an idiot. I do like the black psp color than the grey one so i decided to tried in my old psp slim, mgs4, graw2, vegas1, resistance and i got 156 credit towards the new black psp 3000. i love my psp but hate not being able to play it outside and the ghosting so paying a different of 46 bucks is no biggie for me. the games i traded i never ever played. in the end i can wait till the black one comes out. for now i can play my ps3, 360, or nintendo ds and if get really bored i can play sega genesis or my mame games or my ouija board.

I skipped psp 2000. I plan to buy the psp 3000 entertainment bundle and get a Go!cam to have skyp video conference, location free play, ps3 remote play, demos etc.

Screw PSPs!!! My PSP 1001's battery doesn't even want to work properly anymore. honestly, i don't even know whether its the battery or the part of the PSP where you put the battery in that's all fucked up. i have to plug in my PSP to use it. i might as well call it a PS2. not only that, but since June of 2006 (when i bought it), the battery cover could never be placed properly, and the square button was slanted as i pressed it.
i bought the PSP 2000 back in July to try something different, and not even two days later and the screen had 4-5 dead pixels. i returned it at best buy the second i saw that. after that, i decided to never buy another PSP ever again. they're just a hunk of shit.
i love my PS3, but absolutely hate PSPs.

I love my original psp, bought it when it was first released and it still owns my ds lite.
The 3000 looks sweet and I must say I'll have to make that my next buy.
Even though no cfw, who cares thats what my 1001's for. Psp2 where you @ ?
